She completed her second round with -3 under par 68, and has a one shot lead over the closely following pack, some of whom have yet to complete their second rounds. There are five ladies on that -7 under par score with Stacy Lewis and Brittany Lang in the clubhouse with completed rounds. Some of the others are only half way round so they could easily overtake the leader, but then they will have to come out again and put in a full 18 holes for the third round. Last week I rested like the whole week, so I can I think focus more on the course and I’m ready.”  Stacy Lewis had a bogey free second round, she likes this course, and is looking to reach the number one spot in the rankings; “I mean, this is definitely one of the courses that I like to play. Visually it looks really nice to play. I haven’t made quite as many birdies as I would have thought, but the greens are just tricky. It’s definitely a ball‑striker’s course. You just have to keep hitting a bunch of greens and getting a few putts here and there.” Brittany is having fun, with a lot of supporters following, making it a wonderful day; "It was a beautiful day. I have a lot of friends and family here, so I’m having a lot of fun. I’ve been playing really good and working really hard just trying to be confident out there and committed to my shots. Working on a few things, so good first two days.” The round was delayed by 3.5 hours due to weather (1” of rain) and course conditions this morning with play beginning at 11:00 a.m.  The final group teed off at 6:01 p.m. EST. Play will resume at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning with 24 groups still out on the course.
