LPGA. US Womens Open, Play Suspended in 2nd Round. Inbee Park Leads. June 28 2013

USGA Play was suspended for the day in the second round of the US Womens Open at Sebonack Golf Club with Inbee Park leading, having completed her second round. Inbee shot a second round -4 under par 68 to move to the top of the leaderboard, with six birdies and two bogey's, for a tournament total of -9 under par. She now has a two shot lead over I.K. Kim who is at -7 under after her second round of -3 under par 69. Both ladies have completed their second rounds and are unlikely to be caught by those who still have to finish. I.K. Kim / USGA I.K. thought even par would be a good score in today's windy conditions; "Anything under par I thought was going to be a great score, definitely more wind out there. The wind was a little different direction and it was changing a little bit. Definitely tricky to adjust to the wind on some holes. But the greens were a little softer with the rain, so I was able to give myself some chances." Tied at the moment in third place is Lizette Salas, who has also completed her second round, and Jodi Ewart Shadoff who has yet to finish, but has completed fifteen holes. There is a possibility that she could get closer to the leaders when play resumes tomorrow.
