Ginni Rommety, IBM CEO was at The Masters, in a pink jacket, however, not a green one. Ginni had a prime location just a few rows behind the 18th green, and appeared to be enjoying the golf, applauding good shots into the 18th green. She was seated in a in a lawn chair just a few rows behind the 18th green, and although she has been reported as preferring scuba diving to golf, she was savvy enough to know the good shots from the not so good.
Augusta has given membership to the last four CEO's, all male of course, but has refused to offer Ginni a green jacket. How shallow of IBM not to stand up for it's new female CEO. President Obama would not be where he is had not someone stood up for reform against prejudice. I also think it is time to abandon the stupid coveralls the caddies have to wear, that's another tradition that just emphasizes the difference between the working man and his boss.
